Donut Time in North Mt. Juliet

Donut Time in North Mt. Juliet

Donut Time is opening tomorrow, May 17, in North Mt. Juliet in Lineberry Corner, across from Starbucks and Krystal. Donut Time offers multiple types of donuts including plain, glazed, cake style and filled. They also make specialty products such as twists, cinnamon rolls, éclairs, apple fritters, and their signature, Pinecone. Donut Time doesn’t just have donuts, but also home-made biscuits and croissants.

Randy, the owner, has had a Donut Time store in Lebanon since 2012, and is opening another location in South Mt. Juliet the beginning of June. He has been wanting to open a store in Mt. Juliet for a while because of the growth, but had been waiting for the right location and opportunity to come along. He is working with Mark Lineberry in his location – at Lineberry Corner Shopping Center. He and his wife live in the Mt. Juliet/Lebanon area.

Hard work and determination is what has made Randy successful in his businesses. In high school, Randy worked for Blue Bird Cafe, washing dishes and helping the cook. He then went on to work at Opryland and then to Lochinvar Water Heaters. When him and his wife married, they decided they wanted to open something of their own. Randy went to Arizona in order to train with another Donut store and then opened his first store in that area. While successful, he wanted to settle right here in Middle Tennessee where all of his children, and now grandchild, live. Family lead to him opening Donut Time in Lebanon, and now in Mt. Juliet.

Donut Time opens tomorrow, May 17th. Their hours are 5am-1pm. You can grab a cup of Community Coffee, a donut for the sweet tooth in your family and a breakfast sandwich for the one who prefers the salty side. Randy plans to have an official ribbon cutting and grand opening in the near future.

Mark Lineberry has been a key player in the renovation on North Mt. Juliet. He, through Lineberry Properties, has developed multiple properties on this block including Starbucks, Krystal, SunTrust Bank, the shopping center that includes Affordable Kitchen and Bath, Elegant Diamonds, Memories Consignment, and Resha’s Dance Studio, Affordable Vet Clinic, and Verizon.
